Going home, Trinet poem.

type102

Poetry challenge: Trinet poem.

Going home
to meet
our family and all our friends
to be with the ones we
love the
ones we
hold dear

catching our
plane home
all were in a pleasant mood
doing the usual thing on a plane
chatting, laughing
talking, sleeping
until, hell

fear struck
our hearts
not knowing what we could do
afraid of the unknown was worse
shouting, crying
praying, numb
silence, death

  1. Quite fitting as we hear about all the plane crashes lately.

  2. I like my feet on the ground, your work is great, found your blog by chance looking around and decided to follow.

I appreciate any comments you leave, and thank you for reading my posts and please call back again.
