It was a beautiful clear day
flying high above the clouds
setting out on our trip
hours passed before we
reached our destination

Poetry challenge: Minute poem.
I can remember the days when
we could safely
outside the house
NEVER TRUST A CRICKETER
Come all ye fair young maidens and harken unto me,
Never trust a cricketer, whoever he may be.Randier than a sailor who’s been six months at sea,
Never let a cricketer’s hand an inch above your knee.
First let’s take the paceman, pure speed from first to last,
My darlings do be careful; his balls are hard and fast.
Then there’s the medium pacer, his balls swing either way;
He’s really most persistent and can keep it up all day!
It’s a simple challenge, just write a poem for Valentines Day.
lets see lots of you taking part
Go here to my other blog take part
Here with my own thoughts
wondering what they are
where did they came from
people visit, I know them not
Silencing people that speak the truth
the bullet being their only voice
but right will prevail over evil.
I halve a spelling chequer
I got it on my pee see
its marks four my revue
cause mistakes I dew knot sea

to her home
on a broom
warts on her face
gloves made of lace
writing a rhyme
takes up my time
i look up at the birds
to find me the words
I’ll go to the bar
for just an hour
maybe i’ll find inspiration
or else i’ll get constipation
tea is for mugs
violence is for thugs
