Military Wives Choir

Singing: Wherever You Are.

With millions on strike, much of Europe on the verge of financial collapse and Britain plummeting into a second recession, the outlook seems pretty grim. All the more reason, then, to celebrate one man.

The utterly inspirational Gareth Malone, who is single-handedly transforming entire communities all over Britain by the simple means of teaching them to sing and believe in them-selves.

His latest B.B.C. TV series of The Choir was, without doubt, the best thing on television this year.

Poem: Santa Claus

Poem: Santa Claus.

Excited children are waiting.
Knowing the big day is coming.
Getting the stockings ready.
To hang up for small presents.
On Xmas eve they might be.
Tracking santa on his journey.
That takes him to their country.
And eventually their house.

Sex or Golf

Subject: Sex or Golf

Four guys were playing their weekly game of golf, and one remarked how
nice it would be to wake up on Christmas morning, roll out of bed and
without an argument go directly to the golf course, meet his buddies and
play a round.

His buddies all chimed in and said, “Let’s do it. We’ll make it a
priority, figure out a way and meet here early Christmas morning.”

Months later, that special morning arrives, and there they are on the
golf course.

Dutch paedophile priests

Once again a post about paedophile Priests, on new reports just out about Holland and Belgium.

An independent Dutch inquiry into child sexual abuse committed by Catholic priests said it found “tens of thousands” of victims since 1945, identifying 800 alleged perpetrators ( Priests ).

Tens of thousands of children were exposed to “mild, severe or very severe sexual behaviour” by clergy or lay workers in the Dutch Catholic Church over a 65-year period between 1945 and 2010, the commission said in its final report.

Most were priests, but the figure also includes lay workers. “Of these 800people, at least 105 are still alive.”

old lady crying

When I went to lunch today, I noticed an old lady sitting on a park bench sobbing her eyes out. I stopped and asked her what was wrong.

She said, I have a 22 year old husband at home. He makes love to me every morning and then gets up and makes me pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit and freshly ground coffee.

Female Supervision

Men do not suffer from the lack female supervision.

In fact we see woman supervisors as a hindrance.

We can and do look after ourselves at work and play.

The photos below will show you how men can organise themselves no matter what they are doing, with out the need of a female to supervise them.

Merry xmas and a happy new year

AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL of my friends who visit, comment and READ my posts.

and also to new visitors who are calling in for the first time.

how to keep friends

A few simple steps on how to make new and keep old friends.

Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.

Don’t believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.

When you say, ‘I love you ,’ mean it.

When you say, ‘I’m sorry,’ look the person in the eye.

Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

Poem: Protection.

Poem:   Protection.

Out on your motorbike
With no crash helmet.
It ends up in hospital.
You needed protection.

In the local brothel.
Girls are working hard.
Security mans on guard.
They all have protection.

I would like to thank everyone who has subscribed, for all their comments and help, and all those who have visited my site in the past.

So here’s to moving forwards and upwards to two hundred subscribers, but i think it will take a lot longer in future.
