Poem, bad luck

My latest poem for all you poetry lovers out there.

This is not a straight forward read by the way.

Theres a little something for you to do.

As i walked through a wooded glen to-day.

looking at all the flowers and trees.

I ambled along a little pebble path.

And stepped on a lump of dog shit.

On a water slide with my grandson.

We were having a great time.

Then we went down the big water slide.

And got soaked to the skin at the bottom.

I was late and had to leave.

To get a plane over to london.

I got to the desk just in time.

But i forgot my bloody passport.

I spotted a female driving instructor.

She was teaching a young girl to drive.

They should not be allowed on the roads.

Because it was a blonde teaching a blonde.

  1. Hoi – enough with dissing blondes !!!

Love it, but how the bloody hell did you get that stanza on its head

    • Sure your not a blonde Jo 🙂
Up side down text, easy pesy, go to my computer posts its called flip, i would use it in an email now and again.
I can picture you with your head up side down 🙂
Don’t forget to tell people where you get it 🙄

  2. Laughing Out Loud.

That’s clever Harry, but all the blood rushed to my head when I read it!!!

  3. Neat, Harry. I’m a blonde and I read that upside-down stanza while right-side up. Whatdaya think of that?

And you didn’t say if the blondes were men–I bet they were! 😉

  4. I don’t know whether to be your friend or not after those blonde references – I bet you flipped that verse upside-down on purpose so us blondes would read it – think everyone so far has had a blonde moment since we’ve all read the upside-down bit! Very clever – loved it!

  5. Go on be my friend 😀 its only a joke 😆 but theres plenty more.

Theres no other way to do it other than turn your screen, if you want to use it see my answer to Jo Bryant above.

@Dribblingpensioner, I like the fifth one down. I just turned my monitor upside down, it saves on the neck. 😀

  7. Your so funny, turning the laptop upside down. I would love to hear the kind of comments you would make while watching a romance movie. 🙂

  8. I’m still perched precariously on my head, and to be honest it feels pretty comfortable. I like the poem. Keep up the good work.

  9. Yeah , I liked it too. Wasn’t sure if you were sliding down the super slide on your head, or your pilot was drunk…but, apparently you made a safe landing. Hey, I write a little poetry upside down once in a while myself. You may not be able to read it, even standing on your head though. Actually, I just finished one, would love your comments, or opinion on it before I post a recipe, or some random nascar review and forget how to get back to it. Man , my head is still spinning.
God Bless, keep up the great fun.

  10. You are so bad. I didn’t have to turn upside down to read that stanza. Then again, I’m not blonde. Or old. 🙂

  11. Thanks, just dropped back over to Farce Book ya, and Twitter the: “D” ribblingpensioner…
    God Bless

  12. Absolutely love your poems, they remind me of someone famous but I can’t quite place it.

  13. I just turned my lap top upside down to read, hope that is okay 🙂

I appreciate any comments you leave, and thank you for reading my posts and please call back again.
