Doctor jokes

A gorgeous young redhead goes into the doctor’s office and said that her body hurt wherever she touched it.

“Impossible!” says the doctor. “Show me”.

“The redhead took her finger, pushed on her left wrist and screamed, then she pushed her elbow and screamed in even more.

She pushed her knee and screamed; likewise she pushed her ankle and screamed.

Everywhere she touched made her scream.

The doctor said, “You’re not really a redhead, are you?”

“Well, no” she said, “I’m actually a blonde.”

“I thought so,” the doctor said. “Your finger is broken”.

Drone Pilots at work

This is a video of two drone pilots going through the procedure, tracking a car etc, before launching a missile to take the car and people out.

The University of North Dakota, graduated it’s first controllers this spring.

Three of the weapons and guidance system on the drones are products of Raytheon, it carries 6 bombs and two missiles, and you all know that the drone technology absolutely scares the crap out of the Taliban & Al Qaeda.

READ this before watching the video.

For non-pilots, these controllers are in Nevada and are each flying their own drone thousands of miles away in the combat zone in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A new award to my surprise.

A few days ago i recieved another award, this time it is from Lynda.Renham , she is a published writer, likes taking photos and enjoys her blogging, and i would like to thank her very much for it.

The ‘One Lovely Blog Award’ is for Blogs that make you feel good after you have visited.

Me, my blog, what a lovely thing to say about it, makes me feel better already.

But my problem now is i enjoy so many of the blogs i’m linked to, its going to be hard to pick five out from them all.

I know a few bloggers who do not like or do not want awards, so thats them ruled out, making it a bit easier for me, and a few others already have this award, so its getting fewer to choose from.

This is a disgrace!!

Sergeant Matthew Telford of the Grenadier Guards was promoted to the rank in June 2009.

In November of that same year, Sergeant Telford was one of 5 British soldiers killed when a rogue Afghan policeman opened fire on them.

His wife and family will only receive a Corporal’s pension since he only held his rank of Sergeant for less than a year. However, he was killed on operations by the enemy whilst wearing three stripes of a Sergeant on active service.

Please sign the petition below to support a change in the rules that deny a hero’s widow the pension she deserves.

Please click here:- Soldiers Pensions

Please forward onto any sympathetic contacts that you may have in your address book.

It took me less than 2 minutes to do this;  it really is very simple to do.

Please forward to your friends and colleagues.

Poem: Snow Flakes

Poem: Snow Flakes.

Unheard, quietly, silently.

Crystals of white.

They started to fall.

Slowly at first.

But ever-increasing.

It was so much now.

We could say it was snowing.

It started to form.

A carpet of white.

Ultra-Orthodox Jews

The Ultra-Orthodox Jews in Israel are trying to bring about enforced segregation between the sexes, under their own strict laws.

Beit Shemesh - outside school

Their wives and children have separate lives away from the rest of the Jewish community, and are rarely seen outside. The men do the shopping for the all the family needs.

The photo above shows the wives and children being ” taken ” under escort to the synagogue unable to mix with other people.

They want separate seating areas for woman on buses and else where, woman will not be allowed to sing in public and they must dress modestly.

A black hearse was followed by a second black hearse about 20 Feet behind the first one.

Behind the second hearse was a solitary man walking a dog on a leash.

Behind him a short distance, were about 200 men walking in single file.

Poem: A Home

Poem: A Home.

A lot of bricks and blocks.

Water, sand and cement.

Men and their skills.

And the passage of time.

This is what you need.

To build a house.

But it takes a family.

To make it a home.
